So what's the consensus among FT sages on how to deal with this? It appears that only some carriers, like UA, are being targeted for the shake-down, as a CX award ticket went through without a cash extraction for this security fee.

Is this something to bring to United's attention, or will it just lead to strife and perhaps a reduction of award availability on TG (like occurs on SQ these days)?
