The Dairy Queen uses FD35s plugged into FD100s. I knew from other stores using a similar setup that the common AID is in fact used, but didn't know whether it was actually declining transactions if the PIN was bypassed.

(For the record, I actually tried Apple Pay at this Dairy Queen and the cashier actually knew how to turn on the NFC reader without me having to say anything. ^)
