Also must be on 016 ticket stock. I have an upcoming LH EWR-FRA-MAA-FRA-EWR, with just the FRA-EWR leg on UA metal. Wanted to see if I could buy an upgrade to a higher earning fare code (R is available FRA-EWR: $600+35,000 miles, but no additional PQM). The UA agent I spoke with said I would have to call LH and have them price MAA-EWR, which I didn't want do.
