C-W-S: Thank you for such a thorough and informative guide to the new setup at LGW S. As a lurker, and not a big contributor to FT, I for one am grateful for all the interesting information you share. Especially when I am headed on BA to Barbados next week and will get to sample the delights of the new BA setup at the airline's new Gatwick base.
However, there are two things that jar with me. I'm afraid I have had a glass of Pinot Noir and the pedant in me must speak.
1. In post #1, you show BA's advertising boards. All of us know that there is un accent circonflexe missing from their French advert. It should read: pouvez-vous m'aider avec mes bagages s'il vous plaît ? Though to be fair, the writer has observed the obligatory space before the question mark or point d'interrogation.
2. Again, in post #1, the different blues used by BA in their signage would make the most ardent branding specialist weep. Which is it BA?
Still, clearly these are first world problems, and I look forward very much to my visit to LGW S next week.
