That's really bad luck. I have to say that probably one of the main causes of TPs not posting is travelling on a non BA airline and "something changes". So the sort of thing you mention is exactly the sort of transaction that may take a month or two to resolve. I hope it works out faster. Having said that, if the BAEC number was on the original booking from day 1, and the ticket was just amended with a new routing, generally that does kind of work. But yes, a number of airlines/hotels etc only credit once a week anyway, and QR is in that category.
I've had to do a bit of chasing on mine even though I travelled on BA. They were IB codeshares with two AA flights. The AA flights posted within 24 hours, the BA operated IB ticketed flights still haven't posted after a few weeks...I put them into the missing miles and BA have come back saying the flights were operated by IB and IB have to approve the TPs and Avios...IB don't fly LHR - PHX direct...
