At SIN, there are staff on the ground all day pulling un-claimed bags from the conveyor belts and scan them into the system. Bags re-tagged (just hand-written tags) magically appear at my final destination.
Out of curiosity... How much do you allow in the connection to be sure they have time for this? And what happens if there is a luggage delay?
