Wiser ones please correct me if I'm wrong, but OP, you can transfer Amex MRs to Asia Miles. If your fare class is Y, B, H, K or M you can upgrade, but you can only move up one class, which is Premium Economy on the BOS-HKG flight. This would cost 27500/45000 Asia Miles one way/round trip.
