I was denied last night for the Barclaycard AAdvantage Red Aviator card. Mind you, I presently have NO accounts from them, and my credit score is above 780.

I used to have their US Airways card a few years ago, but it was discontinued. It was replaced by the Red Aviator card. I ended up cancelling that card.

Would this have anything to do with my application being declined?
