I wasnt able to replicate NH for same price that you mention. if so, this sounds quite cheap.
My suggestion will be to keep looking for J on QR. Also - if youre ready to spend 175K on QR J, then how about considering TK J? I rate TK J> QR J.
I guess some may have reservations transiting IST in current env specially for parents. - if so then best options would be to redeem TK J (via SQ or Lifemiles).
I would personally use lifemiles and have done so few months back at good value.
