Information about baggage on connecting tickets that you find on the KLM website only applies to connecting tickets. If you are travelling on separate tickets, nothing you read on the KLM site applies to your separate Transavia ticket.
PS: KLM start flying to OPO in May.
thanks for the info. I have booked tickets now the return was a crazy amount of points so have split as follows:
ABZ-AMS Award
AMS-OPO Paid
OPO-AMS-ABZ award
This covers my return leg short connection time.
