Top 50 Guest - Preferences Request
Select Hyatt hotels have provided various welcome amenities (even though I generally selected points as welcome amenity) during stays over the years, but I do not recall receiving a "formal" email request for preferences.
Here is the excerpt:
"Thank you for our loyalty and for being one of our Top 50 Guests. As one of our most valued guests, we want to ensure you’re well cared for and that your preferences are noted within our hotel.
Can you please kindly provide us with some information, such as:
1.) your preferred beverage of choice
2.) sweet or salty snacks?
We look forward to your reply and to continue to extend you a warm welcome with every visit."
Just wondering if this is status quo for regulars at select hotels or if this is a proactive approach for the hotel to slightly mitigate the changes (e.g., loss of welcome amenity) to the WOH program starting on 3/1.
This obviously is not a game changer in selecting a hotel for anyone (especially not for the hardcore FTs); but it is nice to have a slight "add-on" benefit if you do stay there.
Btw - It goes without saying (but I will say it) that I would take the 1,000 welcome amenity points over these preferences any day of the week.
