Just got the large package with the directory. Is there anyone who keeps this book vs putting it right into recycling? If I were going to use this benefit, I would use the link. That said, the few times I have checked I've found it's cheaper to book directly on the hotel's site.

For example, I searched for New York. The first hotel (Andaz Wall Street) had no availability for any date I put but did on the hotel Web site. The second hotel listed (Baccarat Hotel) showed a weekend rate in March of $834, including a $100 spa credit and breakfast. The hotel web site showed $724 (Couldn't tell if it included breakfast.) The other benefits (early check-in, late check-out, and upgrade) were only "if available at check-in." So not worth it (unless I wanted the spa, in which case close to a break-even).

As for the book - just credit me with the mailing costs. I'm as excited to see this book as I would be to get a phone book with white pages and yellow pages.
