I'm booked on DL72 ATL-AMS today and app says 13 seats open while lounge agent says oversold by 1.
That means there are 14 people confirmed on the flight but who don't have seat assignments. Note the app includes seats that are blocked off but not actually assigned when it shows how many total seats are available.
