(1) What is most important to you in a FFP?
Reply:
a) I can get free bonus points through credit card sign ups
b) Cheapest (points wise) to book business class. If one program does have a lot of bonus points deals with a lot of different credit cards and points are generious then I would take that.
(2) How many miles do you usually fly each year & in what class? How many flights/sectors?
(<25000, 25000-50000, >50000 miles - <25, 25-50, >50 flights?)
Reply: 25000-50000 and probably less than 25
(3) What types of fares do you usually buy ?
Economy (if possible I could also buy premium, depending on the cost)
(4) Can you choose your airlines and/or class of service? Airline most flown? Do you travel for work and/or pleasure?
Reply: Mostly for pleasure. Mostly flew on Virgin
(5) Which routes and airlines do you fly most often
(US Domestic, Transpacific, Kangaroo, in Asia etc)
Reply: I am planning to do US Domestic and Latin-central america.
(6) What is your home airport?
Will be SEA
Reply:
(7) Do you have FFP status of any kind in an airline? What is it? Do you have any miles banked in a FFP?
Virgin Velocity
(8) Preferred Airlines
None for US
Welcome to FT!

You're probably not going to find a status match; it's not especially common with US carriers. However, flying out of SEA the choice is obvious - Alaska Airlines.

AS has a big domestic network (now including Virgin America routes) with Seattle as its major hub, and AS is partners with several Oneworld (and for the time being several Skyteam) airlines as well as Icelandair and Emirates.

Alaska's credit card program (Bank of America Visa) is one of the best going, plus you get an annual $100 companion certificate. Alaska's redemption rates are also excellent. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/alask...eage-plan-442/
