I disagree. The new F dining at JFK etc will be tableside, just like Concorde dining. The BA supper service is a buffet much like the current flagship lounges at dinner time, with a bit more choice but at several airports slightly lower quality imho. F dining definitely will be an improvement although like you I find it a bit odd to keep it for very few routes.
