I stayed in a Junior Suite last month as a gold but no lounge access... kind of.

At check in we were given details of lounge times etc but upon arriving at the lounge that evening, we were told diamonds only. Pretty embarrassing to be turned away.

I called the front desk and received a call back from the duty manager to apologize. She offered lounge access for the rest of the stay, but said that it's usually diamonds only.
