Just wanted to share the mostly minor differences we have found since our first visit in 2012. It is always a challenge to find a better experience the 2nd time around and easy to be disappointed. This stay was exceptional again and proof to me that this place sets the bar in the Hyatt chain. The service here is incredible. The staff goes above and beyond.

The reef has suffered quite a bit of damage from El Nino. You can find areas where it is coming back but nothing like before. I compared pictures and the difference is easy to notice.

A couple of minor food related changes. There is no longer a 3 tier plate (tuna, pastries, fruit) provided at breakfast, rather a buffet with these items and much more. This is a great enhancement. No more tuna chips in the bar area, they now serve peanuts.

Kooddoo airport and shorter boat ride is great, but doesn't come close to the arrival experience to Rangali by seaplane.
