Fairmont Mayakoba - Survey of off site experiences: attractions/shopping/restaurants?
We are staying for 5 nights at the Fairmont later this month - all inclusive package.
Two of the 3 of us have visited Cancun in the past (over 10 years ago) and also Merida (when we saw Chitchen Itza). The 2 of us have seen the Cancun hotel district, and the 2 main water (theme type) parks near Cancun; as well as Tulum.
We are interested in learning what people staying at the Fairmont do? Do they at all go off-site? if so, what do they do? How do they get to these places? - tour, rental car, community taxi, hotel taxi or limo?
