Platinum upgrades do not include upgrades to a Tower Room. I've never gotten one upgraded, ever.

I'd suggest booking a regular room and then asking when you arrive the upgrade cost to Towers w cash or points or booking in advance. Towers is nice. Nice lounge and nice views which contrasts w a terrible plat lounge. Probably worst one in a asia I've been to and weak even by North American standards.

Im not sure paying for Towers is worth it just for View (you can get upgraded as Plat) unless you want their evening lounge. You can also go to the top restaurant/ bar to eat or have a drink to get the views without paying for hefty Tower rates.
