In English, That it shows in the list as hotels, not as a Holiday Inn Express, with a different logo that says "mailesky court Honolulu-Waikiki" and that clicking into hotel details shows it to be "Independant" should be a clue for most people booking in English
https://www.ihg.com/holidayinnexpres...ka/hoteldetail shows it as independant
That the German version shows as HIX seems strange to me
I think what you are seeing a different website than the one I used. My screen returned me with the link similar to yours except that after the .com - it shows .com/hotels/gb/en/reservation.
What I did was just google IHG and click the link and it brough me to reservation screen and I just put destination=Honolulu. Just that simple. I want to book a holiday inn hotel and saw the search returned with two holidays inn. So, I pick the 1st one because the rate was a bit lower than the second one on the list/screen. It's our fisrt time going to Hawaii and so is our first time searching on google for a hotel. We are actually will stay in Maui for the entire vacation. Honolulu will only be a stop over.
