Driving or taking the train in Europe, you can cross multiple borders in a single day. The most I have done was driving from Bulgaria to Germany, starting at around 4am and arriving in the late evening:

Bulgaria-Serbia-Croatia-Slovenia-Austria-Germany (5 borders)
