Barclays Aviator Red card; 2 yrs old, 1k spend in last year.

Just received annual fee notice; was transferred quickly to retention but was told they would not waive the annual fee a second year in a row. I do not have the card that gives the 10k miles. Only offer was to downgrade to the no annual fee Aviator or arrival.

I will give it another shot after the annual fee posts.
