Not a dumb question... Everything points to no adaptor needed. The antenna has a BNC-Male connection, and the Uniden appears to have a BNC-Female. Oddly the Uniden specs don't say female specifically, but every picture I have seen looks like a typical BNC-Female. Also the reviews for the antenna specifically mention a trouble-free fit for the BC125AT Uniden radio you are looking at.
