With that in mind the email said they could offer me their sister property at the Sheraton Mexico City Maria Isabel Hotel at $240/night.
Shouldn't they have to honor the original rate they quoted me and that I booked at?
This wasn't an obvious error situation in my opinion either because the rate seems comparable to other searches at the Condesa I did on other dates and the rate is close to another stay I had at the Condesa back in November. I also now see in my SPG account under stays I have two reservations for the 4 nights--one at Condesa and one at the Sheraton?!
Has anyone else had an experience like this and have suggestions on how to respond? I find this very frustrating as my trip is in 2 weeks. Thanks
Call Starwood and have them sort it out.
