Any time I have been at EWR on a weekday evening, it seems like they are never taking passes at the C3 UC. Yesterday they were redirecting the folks who neglected to bother reading the sign (which was virtually blocking half the entrance) to C1.

I wonder how many of these one-time users actually become full-time members...otherwise, I would greatly cut down on handing these out like candy.

The intent of the passes have nothing to do with getting people to buy memberships. They are used as an enticement for people to pay $95 every year for the Explorer credit card.

Each Explorer card holder gets 2 passes a year.
