U-Bahn is the city underground system, S-Bahn is the regional railway (used primarily to connect the suburbs, but often very convenient for intra-city transfers as well).
Anyway, the Aloft (Stadtbibliothek) stop is a U-Bahn station, not an S-Bahn one. You even have a direct connection to the venue with U12.
