For three years in a row, I flew ORD-London on Christmas Night. Two out of three comp upgrades on AA, thanks to friendly gate agents, empty flights, and mid-tier elite status. I've also been in the air during the Super Bowl - got a great comp upgrade for that as well (empty 767 going ORD-LAX). I missed that Niners-Chargers game. Boo Hoo.
