I am not yet an Enrich member but am thinking of switching loyalty from Cathay. I am based in Hong Kong and fly regularly to the UK (mostly on MH as it happens, although not exclusively). Pick some random dates later in the year and see if redemption options appear on those flights, and let me know how many Enrich miles it would cost?
For your test to work would need to look at a CX & MH award at the same time (and other OW ffp's)
Anyway the cost in points/miles is irrelevant. Its earn to burn that is important.

Frequent flyer miles/points are not equal to or burn. They are not 1 to 1. If a multi segment award check the rules/cost carefully. With some ffp’s it can be 2 or more awards or cost more ff miles/points than a direct flight. If the award is on partner airline it may cost more miles/points than an award on the ffp airline. 10,000 frequent flyer miles in 1 ffp may get you a longer award flight than 15,000 frequent flyer miles in another ffp. Each airline ffp has different rules for using (burning) those miles/points for awards and different copay/surcharge $$ fees. There are cash surcharges on award flights with some ffp’s/routes/airlines. Award surcharge can/are different. Real taxes on award flight are the same for all airlines for the same route and class. A surcharge can trigger additional real taxes if the flight changes from a non revenue flight to a revenue flight.
