If you are storing 100 channels in the 150Mhz band, you would have to have a good memory to recall that 154.95Mhz is the Acme City Police Simplex vs. the Ajax City Cops.
Thanks, yup, I read some of the reviews as well, just wanted a few extra opinions here before I decided.

As someone else has already suggested, the few extra dollars for the 125AT would be money well spent.
Ah, that's why.
The price difference is negligible, so I'm just gonna get the 125AT model.

Keep in mind, that both of these are simple analog only. Not sure what you want to use it for, but many local police and fire departments are going to trunked systems that these won't pick up. You can check your area if that is of interest to you.

Also, again, depending upon usage, an upgraded antenna will get you better reception on these.

I do like mine, as it suits my purposes. Make sure it suits yours.
Here in Pakistan, we're still far from trunked systems, so this will definitely work well with what's being used currently.

Some feeds in Pakistan aren't available online, hence my interest in a handheld scanner to take along with me when I travel inside the country.

Thanks everyone for the replies, have settled on the 125AT and just had it shipped to a friends address, who will bring it along on his next trip here.
