Executive Club mess-up with Qatar: solutions?
I have just flown on a business class trip to Hong Kong on Qatar Airways. For some reason they have messed up my EC membership number after having to rebook my itinerary due to a delayed flight. Since the number I had provided was not clearly printed on the first boarding pass, somebody manually inserted the wrong number on the subsequent ones, in particular one 9 and one 6 have become 2 0s.
As a result I am not sure whether I'll get my miles. I told Qatar more than once and they claim that the number inserted is the correct one but for some reason both on the re-printed boarding pass and on the online booking, the wrong one still appears.
"Don't worry, you've got the right one in, just the system wouldn't show it".
It sounds a bit "weird" if you ask me. Right now it's been 4 days since the flight and nothing appears on my EC statement.
Should I contact BA for this? what are your suggestions?
