EVA works just like Air Canada, your non refundable ticket will just be a credit towards a future flight (minus the change fee).

If you have a flight you would like to take already in mind, you might just give them a call and see what they say. Sometimes they do not charge all that they might.

Simply clicking the button will probably do nothing, but might muck it up a bit. You will not get a check in the mail. :-)
