I'm flying Air New Zealand with a D fare class ticket. I'm a SkyTeam guy, but there was no good SkyTeam option for PER-AKL. I currently have my United FF number in the reservation and am Star Alliance Gold, but have zero accumulated United miles.

My ticket number starts with 086 so I believe I will get 150% United miles, but zero qualifying miles. Is there a better place to credit this flight to? I do have a BA Avios account that I send all my AMEX points to, but that doesn't appear to be a option here.
