I'll first preface this with I'm a complete novice when it comes to award travel. I primarily use my miles for quick domestic trips and haven't put any thought into international travel and codeshares.

I see that DL flies into Tortola through SJU via Seaborne Airlines codeshare. Can easily book a revenue ticket on DL.com for the dates I'd like, and a number of dates throughout the month of April.

However, award availability is non-existent and the phone rep indicated there isn't award pricing available for the Seaborne codeshare. Is this true? If not, who/how do I need to call in and have them "open up" award seats?
