For the extra $8 or so, I would go with the 125. From my long-ago experience with previous handhelds (primarily Yaesu or Icon), being able to annotate found channels is valuable. Reviews indicate the cheaper model doesn't allow this customization. If you are storing 100 channels in the 150Mhz band, you would have to have a good memory to recall that 154.95Mhz is the Acme City Police Simplex vs. the Ajax City Cops.
