I've been a regular customer of melia hotels for 3 years now (gold status) and since last august, none of my stays allowed to obtain points, supposedly because the booking was made through expedia, which was not the case. It was done through a travel agency at work, but they state that to be earn points, the booking has to be done directly with Melia.
Has anybody had the same experience lately? if so I'll probably change for another chain of hotels in Spain (NH?)
