I do. I have no real evidence for this, but I suspect that it was the server busting number of bookings that made AC realize that they were offering true lo-cost carrier pricing (something that AC Rouge does not do).


It looks as if the deal was available for up to three hours for those who had the patience to attempt to book.

I think (again with no evidence) that the deal was available for quite a while before it was posted on redflagdeals. There is a bit of a skewed incentive here, since advertising the deal for community benefit may cause it to be so popular that it is not honoured. The selfish individual would have bought the pass and then anonymously tipped off Air Canada.
