I called today, since the annual fee hit recently. I cited the letter that I received to discuss options to avoid the AF, and they transferred me to an account specialist. Once the specialist was on the line, I cited the letter again, and said I had another card with overlapping benefits, so I was trying to decide which card to keep. The specialist's only offer was to downgrade me to an Aviator with no fee, or a different card entirely, so I just cancelled.
For reference, I had the AF waived last year, and I only spent about $600 in 2016.
