My current impression of BA is that they bear a worrying resemblance to United during the Tilton/Smisek years and the turbulent time of the initial CO integration.
It's taking some time for UA to recover from the damage done by that type of "leadership".
It would be poor if BA manages to sink like that.
The thing is, you can cut so much that eventually you run out of things to cut, and you've nowhere left to go. However, why should that bother those in senior management doing the cutting. They will be long gone by the time it reaches a nadir.
