Hmm.... Interesting. I didn't realise Qnatas ordered some 737-700 that ws never delivered. To number_6, no offence here, but where did you get your data from, I mean, the time now April 2004!

As far as I know (from Australian Aviation), QF still has about 4 -5 A330-300 yet to be delivered, the delivery of the fourth aircraft (VH-QPD Corowa) have been deferred till November to allow Airbus to do some development work and some testing. And the new lot of B737-800 will be delivered beginning July (VH-VYA to VYG).

IMHO, Qantas should order the A330 series to replace its aging B767-300 (but bearing in mind the oldest is still relatively young at 15 years old). I personally find them to be a better aircraft to travel in.
