There are a couple of blocked seats on the seat map. Not sure why. They will open up when the flight closes at departure minus 60 mins.
I heard once that they block some seats from the seat map to balance the airplane.
I don't know if this already happened to you, but once, after everybody was onboard, the crew of flight I was in asked 6 people from the front seats to go seat at the back because the seat map wasn't correctly balanced.
