Sometime last year Expertflyer started showing availability for the whole itinerary instead of segment-by-segment.

You'll notice this most often when there's limited availability on the feeder flight. E.g. if YUL-YYZ only has 1 J seat available, it will also only show 1 J available on YYZ-HKG (even though it may actually be J9)

I assume this was necessary because AC started implementing married segment logic on many routes.
