Called MVP Customer line and had them link accounts and they awarded the miles at that time.
Daughters account needed supervisor help and miles will post in 5 days.

You did better than I. I have both AS and VX accounts. I have received plenty of marketing emails but nothing about linking my accounts from either AS or VX.

I just called AS Customer Care, and they were pretty useless: All they offered was to send an email over to VX to link my accounts. No mention of miles.

The 10K would be more miles than I have in my AS/VX accounts combined, but I've already spent more time and effort on this than they're worth. Hope it all works out in the end, but it's been a fail for me so far.
