Greetings from Doha. The first two legs are in the books and I am working on the actual reports. Just some highlights:

1. Used the new (or at least new to me) AC located at the base of the L Concourse at O'Hare. Really nice space and much lighter crowds than the AC at the HK concourse split.

2. Much better VX F experience than my trip back in May.

3. Great experience on QR between LAX and DOH. Hard product on the 777-200LR (while not state of the art) was VERY comfortable. Service was OUTSTANDING!! Put AA, BA and UA J class service to shame.

4. Entry into Qatar was a piece of cake. Loved going through the Premium Arrival Lounge immigration line - only 2 people ahead of me.

5. Doha Marriott - your basic Marriott in a not too "aesthetically pleasing" part of town but so convenient to HIA. As a Gold was upgraded and given Lounge access. Lounge had cocktails from 6-8p and enough food to make dinner of it.
