We returned to Bora Bora for the second time (2016, 2017) in January of this year. One of the locations we stayed at was the Sofitel Private Island. Before I give my thoughts, as a context here are the places we have stayed at:

Tahiti:

Bora Bora:
IC Thalasso (Emerald and Sapphire OWB)
IC Le Moana beach bungalow, OWB


As to the SPI: I booked two nights through the Chase UR portal using UR points. As a amateur photographer I requested 6-9 months ahead of time a view of the mountain for our OWB. We happened to have had *THE* best one, #129, and it was fantastic location and view.

Very few people, included great breakfast, best snorkeling of Bora Bora 5 minute walk part way around island.

Better than our week at the IC Thalasso.
