Hi guys.
I sent in BRG claims for the St. Regis Langkawi.
However, all websites I found used € instead of USD.
This is how they rejected my claims:
I have reviewed the rates for the St. Regis Langkawi, for the dates of your claim, on our website and found a rate of USD383.72 and the rate of EUR349.75 = USD374.156 on (competing website). [...] We have determined that the difference in rates is due to currency exchange fluctuation and not actual rate difference. It is for this reason that I am not able to approve your claim.
I think 9 USD per night is quite a big difference, but they don't seem to care.
Could somebody please PM me a suggestion where to look instead?
Seems like the only reason to get the claim approved is by pointing them to a competing website that uses USD...
