Ironically I was asked last week at TPA when I checked 2 tall but narrow cardboard boxes about 40lbs each. They were live trees which I said.

Did have to sign a waiver but there was no issue otherwise. They did put "baggage" all over the boxes I surmised to distinguish from freight. $5 tip to the skycap and all was good & happy.

I doubt they really want you to buy anything they sell but prevent dripping luggage.

Maybe "tools" (for relaxation...)
