Amex (UK) account closure date affected by interest or fees posting later?
Hi

Recently closed my BA Amex Card and was counting the days till eligible to apply for the BA Amex Premium Card in order to qualify for the points bonus.

However on checking the account I noticed a balance of a few pounds and pence (probably due to delayed interest being posted) after the card was cleared.

Technically what is the actual date of closure, when the cardholder informed they now longer required it or when the balance had been cleared ?
Interested as this could potentially push the date I can apply for the BAPP Amex and get the point, as I have some large purchases shortly the would go close to getting the 2-4-1 voucher.
