Might not have caught this otherwise.

Perhaps an additional clause is now warranted for this piece of legislation - such that any claim adjudged to have been wrongly and maliciously delayed/denied is then eligible for double the original level of compensation. Might just help concentrate the mind at BA and all offending carriers.

Local government in the UK is extremely adept at doubling parking fines for anyone who doesn't meet the first payment deadline specified in their enforcement notice.
