Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan members will earn miles when they travel on Amtrak's Coast Starlight, Cascades, Capitols, San Joaquins, or San Diegans. Members will earn a minimum of 150 miles on short trips and as many as 2,000 miles for a monthly commuter pass or for a room on-board The Coast Starlight.

Travel on any Amtrak's Western Route trains between 9/1/99 and 12/31/99 and earn an additional 500 bonus miles.
