With the occupy-airport protesters blocking all lanes in the upper and lower road ways, what's the best way to drop off or pick up friends at LAX?
Do they really walk from outside to terminals? That would be a really long walk because LAX is so old and outdated that there isn't a people mover to take passengers to terminals.
The airport has negotiated an agreement with the protesters per their Twitter account @flyLAXairport:
"Law enforcement & demo leaders negotiated plan: traffic on Upper & Lower Level roadways would alternate being fully open in 30-min intervals"
Therefore, my recommendation would be to check Google maps to see which level is blocked when you need to pick up. Seems like the protesters have been blocking the Upper level more than the lower level, and the lower level has more lanes.
